I'm not sure, but I'm guessing that they will get knocked out soon.

Wow...I know everyone will have fun this year, how can you not? But, to say this lineup isn't weak... the headliners are good, but it sure drops off fast after that. Its almost like it was set up to fail. Was last year so bad with the rains that this year suffered? Hate to be so critical, but Colt Ford WILL be last years Shooter...that money could have been better spent....thank goodness he is on early. Maybe Bill is pining to shorten the C-Jam to 2 days, ala Winstock? JWG, can you find out what's going on? Look at the lineups from the last 2 years? Now look at this years lineup....? Something doesn't seem right. Moondance Jammin Country is THE premiere outdoor venue to see live country performances by THE hottest artists. It never ever has to be run like We or Cadott and can still draw the crowds and bring in the dough. For sme reason, it sure seems like we downshifted this year, when all we had to do was keep the pace of Jams 2 & 3 to keep the turbo singin'......

Bill, I commend you for ''keeping on, keeping on'' with both fests. To do what you do for the Walker area is simply awesome, to say the least.
It's just hard to see something like this regress... hopefully, it's only temporary.

My excitement for Moondance is definitely waning... I was excited when Miranda, Martina, Justin, and Bomshel were announced long ago- all big faves of mine. but since then, nothing else on the lineup excites me. It's not entirely bad- and I know you can't please everyone but I'm definitely wondering if it's gonna be worth the 5 hour drive and the money shelled out for me. Seriously Nitty Gritty Dirt Band before Miranda? hmm. how bout at least swapping them and James Otto in the order?? I don't know. just may not be a festival year for me and I may just focus on single concerts. I know it's hard booking acts for these festivals- and maybe it's a reflection of the poor economy? I know Country Splash isn't getting the big names this year they were supposed to... I went to Moondance in 2008 and had such a blast- LOVED the lineup and had such high hopes for this year. I'm holding on to a little hope that the final slots will bring back my excitement. and i know the people that do go to Moondance will have a blast no matter what, it's a great and fun festival- the lineup isn't horrible- just not at the level it could/should be.

JWG, I gotta say, sorry for doubting you. Signing Kellie today was a definate boost and it makes the weekend complete. Now if we could only do some switching of the orders...haha just think about it. :)
Love=Moondance. Always. (:

Not sure why my post from October came up. Actually I pretty happy with the line up, Two of my favorite bands are there; 32 Below to open the pre party and Zac Brown to close, everything else in between is just new experiences. The lastest signing; Granger, not sure who he is, but has a strong base in Texas, which to me always is a good sign.

I really hope the word gets out for Zac Brown coming (hint to everbody...spread the word!!!)

Also, with getting Zac, as it stands, it might be the only time he comes to MN this summer. And to fulfil my goal of my October post, that will draw more folks up north, get the campsites filled, sell more beer, more people to feel the Moondance experiece and all that is good!

And as Zac would say
"Life is good today"

MoonMobile... I think that was an accidental post by Bill. :D

Good predictions, though... right down to 32 Below at the PreJam Party!

I'm hoping for maybe someone like .... Sammy Kershaw or Little Texas???

Even Phil Vassar (who we didn't get to see much of last year because of the storm...but he sure was rockin)!

Hope it's not like...Colt Ford's grandpa Henry....... ;-)
