Hey, that's pretty cool. Saw Pat Travers open for Aerosmith back in the early-80s. He played Beethoven's Fifth Symphony on guitar. Pretty wild. Wouldn't mind hearing/seeing that again. I also like that MDJ is expanding to national acts at 3:00. That rocks.

Wow! That is two national acts on at 3pm this year. I don't know a lot of songs by Pat Travers but I like the fact I have heard of him. "Boom Boom (Out Go the Lights)" and "Snortin' Whiskey" are good songs. Great guitarist too.

That is a great signing. What a way to start Friday off. He can really play, He gets the crowd into it. I saw him open for the Doors of the 21st Century a few years back and he was phenominal. Great to see a good North Bay boy have such a good career. The lineup just keeps getting better. Since the earlier bands are so good I am very curious to see who the final two closers are.

Here is a review of a show of his last year in Wichita by Classic Rock Revisited's Jeb Wright.

Ah yes, the guy that can't get his drugs straight. I remember the Snortin' Whiskey tune quite well.
